Custodian

RM Group is an education management organization (EMO) located in Tucson, Arizona. RM Group, as an EMO, helps oversee five ROSE Academy schools, a group of alternative charter high schools, with several locations in the city.

RM Group is looking for a Custodian.

Salary starting at $16.50/hr.

Essential Job Functions

• Follows and completes the daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedule checklists. These duties include, but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washing windows, scrubbing tables and desktops, emptying trash cans, sanitizing washrooms, stock toilet and sanitary supplies and prioritizing to ensure the most pressing clean-ups or repairs get done first.
• Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools; buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers, vacuums, brooms, mops, squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc.
• Assist with the setup of facilities for meetings, classrooms, conferences, events, etc.
• Participates in emergency drills and environmental safety activities, as requested.
• Perform minor repairs as assigned.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma Required
• Obtain and maintain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

Experience Requirements

• Custodial experience preferred
• Must possess excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills
• Quick learner
• Strong interpersonal skills
